Diamond Status - priority tender?

I have only been on RCI once since my Diamond status.  In Grand Cayman, does Diamond people get priority tendering?  If so, how does it work? It's been a long time since I have tendered to port.

That would be unusual in my experience but rarely go to Grand Cayman.

I have never used the ticket system to tender to Grand Cayman.  Except for the crew members stopping the line to keep tour groups together, we have had no problem just walking down to the tender area below.

I have not been to Grand Cayman since 2012.  I don't remember having to wait for tickets.  Yikes.  I know if you book an excursion through the ship, you will go with that group.  I just want to go to Seven Mile Beach.

We have never needed tickets to tender in Grand Cayman on Royal.  Just went down and got on the tender and went in

This probably depends both on the ship (some don't have tickets) and concierge.

We haven’t been for several years (on a voyager class out of Galveston, before Liberty). We had to go to small theater to get tender tickets because we had an early independent excursion. There was almost a free for all. 

 

Hopefully the system has improved for our future visit from Liberty if the concierge doesn’t have tickets.
