Paradise doesn't have outdoor movies?

Recommended Posts

is that right? we looked at a couple YouTube videos and didn't see a video screen on Lido deck.

I assume that is consistent with Fantasy class ships, but I was surprised to not see a video screen after learning Paradise was in dry dock just last year.

do they play films in the main theater?

No outdoor screens on the Fantasy class ships. I have known them to play movies in the aft comedy clubs.

You are correct. Paradise doesn't have the Dive In Theater ondeck…

I sailed on Paradise and never saw a mention of movies being available in the theater- doesn't mean it doesn't happen, just not seen it myself!

We sailed Paradise when it was a no smoking ship. Even saw two guys get kicked off for smoking even though they signed the NS contract. Anyway the movie they were showing in the comedy club was Jaws. How appropriate!!

When we went onParadise last year. They played movies in the aft lounge but we never managed to make them. Always something more fun for us going on.  But they were playing some.

My biggest complaint from the Fantasy class is the lido deck. It's so boring with that big stage that doesn't get used enough. Movies will only be in a lounge around mid-day. Not even close to watching one at night under the stars.

We were on her a few months back.  They showed movies in the Comedy club.

Just another reason to like the Fantasy class.  Just about the last thing I want to do one a cruise is sit and watch a movie.  I did watch Thor Ragnarok on the Horizon TA, but that was just because I wanted to look at Thor on the big screen. 😁

Last cruise on the Paradise, February, I kept watching the FunTimes, but never saw movies on the schedule for any of the lounges.   Do you just have to stroll in there to see if any are playing?

All that rubbernecking must have given you Thor muscles.
