7PM Miami departure: how about dinner?

We are sailing on the Seaside this Saturday. Departure time is 7PM. Is there no dinner service that day, just buffet?

I am assuming it will be like the Divina. The two times we had a 7:00 pm Miami departure on the Divina dinner was at the normal time. We were first seating so we’re able to eat and then catch sail away. Sail away was very low key though because it was during dinner. I think instead of a sail away party there was a welcome aboard deck party after muster or something so the actual sail away was just that.

what's dinner has to do with departure? you will have regular dinner .

when have you requested the dinner service

 

All dinner services are at the normal times of 5.30 7.30 and 9.30

The reason MSC has a ate departure is to give the international passengers time to get off the plane and onto the ship.

Interesting theory, at least applied to Seaside out of Miami, as they have alternating departure times, 5 for Eastern and 7 for Western.. so, by your theory, no International passengers on Eastern?

Or perhaps the departure time has more to do with distance to first port, or port fees, or some combo rather than passenger make-up.

I was on the Divina twice, and that was the reason given on board.
