luggage storage

Hi all:  We will be disembarking in Seattle on Sep 7.  We are staying at an Airbnb,  however we cannot check in til 3pm.

Does anyone know where we can leave our luggage for a few hours..we would rather not lug them around until we check in.

No info on Seattle specifically, but last year in San Francisco we just went up to the Hyatt bellman and asked him to store them for awhile.  Tipped 5 or 10 bucks and they were happy to do it.  This would probably work at any hotel with an outside bell stand, even better if you are a member of their frequent guest program.

a quick look at Google Maps shows the Marriott waterfront is right across from pier 66.  You might try contacting them.

There is a company called “Bags Away Luggage Storage,” located right near Pike Place Market.  If you’re taking light rail in from Seatac Airport, you can also store your luggage at the Amtrak Station, which isn’t far from where the light rail gets into Downtown Seattle.

Both piers offer luggage storage for a fee, but only until 3pm I believe.

Drop your luggage then walk up to Pike Place Market for a bit.  It gets unbearably crowded after 11am so best to go early.   And from the Market you can walk 3 blocks to Westlake Center and catch the Monorail to Seattle Center/Space Needle.

While you cannot check-in have you asked your airbnb if you can leave your luggage there till that time?

I second asking the Airbnb host, perhaps they'll have a recommendation if they aren't able to help you out.

Thank you all for your responses.  Yes leaving our bags at Airbnb is an option and probably what we will do..

I think that is the best option...gotta love the folks on cruise criltic. Everyone has alway been so helpful sharing ideas on CC.
