Snorkeling in Granada

We will be on a Princess cruise in Dec.   Has anyone snorkeled in Granada within the last year or so?

Excursions offered are:1) underwater sculpture park  and Flamingo Bay with lunch & beach time at Morne Rouge

We snorkeled at the underwater sculpture park about 6-7 years ago and found it to be a poor site for us in comparison with the Champagne Reef in Dominica or anything in Bonaire.   Would love to hear about recent experiences.

Having had a good previous experience, you will be dissapointed.  The reef is not what it was 3 years ago, but it's the volume of punters rammed onto one boat by the ship that will cause concern.  Mayhem is a good word.

Said it many times before, take a taxi to Morne Rouge for about $25.00 with tip, select a bar (sanctuary) of your choice, rent chairs, take food and drinks.  Your bar will value your business and appreciate that you made the effort to find them, and you'll discover the beauty of the Island and it's people, also, most importantly, leaving the T'erds behind at Babylon aka Grande Anse.
