Wow!!!!  Please don’t say that. Too close to home (2 miles to Daytona Beach city limits).

Hopefully it will just take a wide turn to the north east and head out to the ocean.

Mac, look who I found. She sends her greetings to your family. Turns out Ipitu is her helper, and we said with him in January.

That is AWESOME. She is spectacular. Thanks for taking the time to find her. Gotta find an opportunity to sail with her again.

I just read a post on a Facebook page from someone who is on Navigator right now. She said the Captain just made an announcement that CocoCay will be closed until next Wednesday. Can you try to verify if that is true. We are on a cruise that leaves on Tuesday so I would love to know if we will be missing CocoCay.

Enjoying your review. Hope the rest of it goes well and that you get ho me safely.

Dinner was filling. Tasty too. The meat was cooked just right as well. The ribeye had flavour. Skip the Mac and Cheese. Service was quick. We were done in an hour and were not rushed.

Peter our waiter was a joy. He has been in the cruise world since 2003 starting with P&O and 3 contracts later joined RC. He started as a pastry chef and worked his way through the kitchen and dining room and eventually ended up in specialty dining. He has worked on Brilliance, Vision, Grandeur, etc and had only recently entered to Oasis Class of ships. Thankfully there was a lull in Chops to which we could chat for a few minutes.

Now, for the person curious to the soup, it seemed like the original mushroom soup but then you had me second guessing.

Craisins ain’t raisins.

Owen commented that the liked the croutons and boom. Look what appeared.

Copious amounts of meat were consumed and we somehow polished off part of a cheese cake and a small amount of ice cream.

A great evening. We tried to run the father/son golf grudge match but the links were backed up. Maybe tomorrow.

Late response to the chops meal. Hope it was good. We are considering skipping  chops this time around. Somewhat over-rated IMHO compared to my smoker prime rib or rib-eye.  Glad it was a positive experience for you.

From your Canadian followers, how about Bloody Caesar, a Canadian breakfast starter?

Enjoy.

Hi Everyone:

I just received this email from Royal Caribbean...

ABOUT YOUR UPCOMING TRAVELS

Dear Guest,

Along with our Chief Meteorologist, James Van Fleet, we’ve been closely monitoring Tropical Storm Dorian. Given its current strength and path projections, we’ve decided to close CocoCay until Wednesday, September 4th, which impacts your visit there. Our CocoCay Team is made up of over 400 Bahamian locals and it’s important that they evacuate to care for their families and secure their homes, as soon as possible. Please know, we evaluated all options, and this is the best decision, as there is no room for error when it comes to the safety and security of our guests, crew, and employees. This is our top priority. At this time, we’re in the process of securing alternate ports and we will have an itinerary update to share with you tomorrow, August 28th, by 3:00 PM EST. Any pre-purchased Royal Caribbean International shore excursions for CocoCay will be refunded to your onboard expense account in the form of a credit. If your onboard spend does not reach this amount, the remaining balance will be refunded to your credit card on file. We are terribly sorry for this last-minute change, but appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this unexpected circumstance. We remain super confident that you’ll have a wonderful vacation with us!

Sincerely,

Royal Caribbean International

Is that a milkshake from Johnny Rockets? If so did you have to pay for it? Thanks

While I waited online for the Fine Line last night, my wife and daughter walked into JR and got two shakes, no problem with refreshment package.

We were going to see Fine Line tonight but Mother Nature had other plans. At first there was a delay due to weather but the show started ten minutes late. Unfortunately shortly after this clip the show was halted due to weather and seconds after that there was a flash and then another of lightening.

Needless to say our flow rider rental was cancelled for the night.

A storm was brewing.

Yet, the idiots were still playing basketball.  The golf course cleared though. That lesson was learned a few days ago. Not too early, right?

Whoa...that sky is quite scary! It is so unfortunate for all the cruisers who were scheduled for Coco Cay through next Tues. that they won't be able to go there. Once again, Mother Nature is in control!

Enjoying your review Andrew. Thank you for taking us along....
