Just Off the Paradise - Any Questions?

Recommended Posts

Returned from the 4-day Paradise Cozumel cruise this morning. Our 50th cruise overall, 36th on Carnival, and 8th on the Paradise. Loved our new Junior Suite on Deck 14. Balcony is much larger than those in the Junior Suites on Deck 11. All drawers and closet doors have the soft closing. Nice fridge and the desk area is large. When doors were open, we noticed some of the inside cabins on Deck 14 had couches. Food was good, fast room service, crew was excellent as always, and I won a a lot of money in the casino playing video poker. Embarkation and debarkation in the Port of Tampa were easy as always. Didn't take any excursions, just got off the ship in Cozumel and had lunch. There were three Carnival ships docked where we were. It's a long walk from the ship to the end of the pier, so we took advantage of the bicycle driven carts - they are free, you just tip the driver. Only negative was there were tons of kids and lots of crying babies and toddlers, older kids running through the casino. All in all, a great cruise. Had perfect weather the whole time and we have never seen such calm seas the whole trip.

Oooh, is Arturo still bartending at the buffet bar nights?  He was the BEST.

We've never done a 4-day cruise - we do the 5-day when we sail on Paradise.  My question, is there an elegant evening on the 4-day?  And if so, was it on the first full sea day evening?

We are sailing on Paradise in November. Paradise was my first Carnival ship (and a few more of my earliest cruises) so I am looking forward to cruising on her again, although I know I will miss not having an Alchemy Bar.

Have not cruise on the Paradise since when it was Carnivals “Smoke Free” ship.

(a true paradise environment) .

Interested in the replies to this posting as we are getting turned off by the mega- ships.
