I’m looking forward to my very much needed vacation on the Breakaway in September, but time has caught up with me and I have left it too late to book meals and shows on days at times that suit.

I remember on my last cruise the the Haven concierge handed out request forms that we could fill in and he would make the reservations. Does anyone have one of those forms they could share?  Or is anyone on board/ boarding soon that could share?

Thanks in advance.

You can call the Concierge line 1-855-625-4283

give the receptionist your reservation number

and request any assistance need from there.

That failing when boarding your ship there

will be a Haven lounge to check-in and await

your escort on board - during that time locate

the on board Concierge or assistant and

lay out the reservations required and any

other details you need taken care of.

Booking those dining reservations early

rather than later is best - if you are late

in boarding those that are held back for

other suite guests may have been used.

Call the number to get this show going - - -

I called, not very helpful. Told me to have on board concierge make the reservations I wanted as all the preboard available slots were used. I wanted to have them all checked off on the Haven concierge request list when I walked on so that I wouldn’t have to strain my brain as soon as I got there.

Have your dates times and restaurants all lined up - and if there are shows involved have that noted also.

You might also plan on suitable alternative times.

Give that request to Concierge staff when checking in and have them go right to work on it.

If you are late checking in you may not get exactly everything you want.

If you are able to book any of the times - do it now - not exactly what you want book the closest time.

With the bird in hand you have bartering material and minor time adjustments are no big deal except

for Teppanyaki - all times are fixed.

Make it easy for the Concierge staff to fulfill your requests.

I don't know the percentage of booking times that are made available pre-cruise but certainly not 100%

are used. There are a number of slots available for suite Haven guests and when that is filled - you are

not yet out of luck - visit the restaurant before hand and see what can be done. Smaller table numbers

are easier to work with - tables for 8 or more unless the MDR maybe asking too much.

But do give the onboard Concierge staff the opportunity to work things out for you !

Please have it all written down for the best results that way there will be no more brain straining ! LOL !

New to Haven.  Also many years since we've been on NCL.

You have to make reservations?

Somehow I thought that if you were in the Haven you did not have to make them in advance, or you could just show up (for shows) like on Royal Caribbean.

What, exactly,, do you need to make reservations for?  Shows?  specialty restaurants?  The Haven Restaurant?

Do you make them via the website?

I would make any plans on website in advance when ever possible for bookable shows and any Specialty Dining, and then if needed The Haven Concierge will go out of their way to accomodate any changes. With all of the dining offers that NCL offers as a booking incentive, its necessary to book on the website for your dining reservation as far in advance as possible. They fill rather fast.

The Haven Restaurant is come anytime.

So even Royal requires you to make reservations for comedy shows.

On all ships, you require reservations for specialty restaurants.

On big ships, you need reservations for the two main theater shows, comedy shows, Dinner shows, escape rooms, painting classes, laser tag, go karts.

Some are available online 130 days prior to departure. They sell out fast.

No reservations are accepted for the Haven restaurant. First come first serve.

I have been in the Haven on the Breakaway and Escape and we always make show and dining reservations with the Concierge the day we board. And they are fantastic when making changes throughout the cruise....never an issue.  Also, they escort you to the shows where "Haven seating" is provided.....usually about 25 minutes before the shows start.  This is one of the special perks of booking the Haven.

We have stayed in the haven 5 times now and i have never pre booked anything. I have never had an issue getting into any restaurant or show just by asking the concierge that day.

The form we received upon boarding the Jade and being escorted to lunch in Cagney's resembled this one, with the top section blank. We filled out the top portion with a pen/pencil as we had lunch. Later, the form was returned to us as it appears below after the concierge made the reservations. The listed reservations were almost exactly as we had requested. When the exact time we requested was not available, he reserved a time as close as possible. (There is no Haven restaurant on the Jade, though there are Haven cabins and a Haven pool area.)

Hope this helps you to organize your requests, even if your exact form differs...

Try ship e mail. con56@ncl.com

This is the concierge on board.

Does that go to a specific ship concierge -or- back to the general pre-cruise concierge ?

Is con56 - 56 being a specific ship ? What are the ship numbers ? NCL does not have 56 ships ?

Sort of like when you establish the M&G you put in the specific ship you want to organize the party on.
