Pride-Hawaii-Disembarkation at Islands

Recommended Posts

I have arranged private tours of the islands with my group.  I know that Norwegian's tours are given priority disembarkation.  At approximately what time are the rest of the passengers allowed off the ship.  I need an answer ASAP.

Thank You

Joy

There is no priority disembarkation for NCL tours. You will be able to leave at about the time stated for arrival.

Other than Kona, which is a tender port, so that depends on what tender tickets you can get.

Thank you.  That is exactly the info I need.

And private tour companies meet the ship every week and would not schedule a time that can not be achieved. That being said, it is incumbent on everyone in the group to be on time (which is apparently physically impossible).

Which private company did you book? We have 4 people and would love a "driver" versus one of us driving and missing the scenery.

Hi

Please email me at jvanek@cruiseshipcenters.com and I will provide you with details.  I have 4 spots available for Maui (Road to Hana), Hilo & Kona Island Tours and Kauai Tour (West to Waimea Canyon).

Robertshawaii does a good business on shore excursions.  Road to Hana can be a real pain in the neck if you do it yourself.  Besides the length, the road itself has narrow bridges and tight turns.  Spoiler alert:  There really isn't anything there when you get to the end.  It's about the road itself.

We rented a car for Kauai and were happy doing so.

We rented a vehicle at all stops on a 2016 7 day POA sailing.  The rental companies met us at each dock, took us to the airport rental desk and we were on our way.  All rental companies then returned us to the ship in time. The best use was the excursion to Mt Haleakala.  We left the ship at least 1 1/2 hours after the bus departed for the sunrise excursion, so we got an additional hour sleep. Drove up the winding road and arrived well before daybreak. We were then able to take our time on the return trip down the mountain and get away from all of the bikes making the trek
