Not so settled cash account

Last evening paid off large amount of on-board charges via credit card.  The OP thought that meant they "closed" their on-board account, but in actuality it just changed their account from a "cash" account to a "credit card" account.  

Later that same evening the $24 charge for the nursery were added onto their account.  Since it was at a zero balance since it had been paid off, a second charge was made to their credit card in the amount of $24.  

So, the issue is that the OP thought they had completely closed out their on-board account, when in actuality they had changed it from "cash" to "credit card" status.  This actually worked out in the OP's favor, because if they had actually closed out their account without the credit card on file to cover the nursery charges that came later, the next morning their Seapass card would not allow them off the ship -- they'd get turned away at the gangway and be directed to Guest Services to pay the balance due.
