Lauranne #1 Posted September 12 Hi all, This is our first Cunard sailing. Question: Can you order a bottle of liquor to your stateroom for consumption? We have done this with other lines for a decent price. Also is there a fridge with mixers in it or is there a way to order those also. Thanks for your time. BigMac1953 #2 Posted September 12 Yes you can, but it's much easier and a lot cheaper if you bring your own bottle(s) with you on embarkation. Mixers can be purchased on board and stored in the fridge.
steve ch #3 Posted September 12 Liquor purchased on board will be delivered to your stateroom on the last night of the cruise. You can bring a bottle of wine aboard on embarkation, but nothing stronger.
tacticalbanjo #4 Posted September 12 Bottles of liquor are available on the room service menu for consumption in your stateroom. This room service menu is from QM2 in August 2018. I don't have a more recent copy but I doubt it has changed significantly. As noted on the menu, bottles include six individual sized house mixers.

We always bring 6 bottles of the Widow as we have been doing for well over 20 trips. Others bring their favourite spirits. You can also "top up" at any port. Anything consumed ourside your cabin, may be subject to corkage charges (but not always!). Stewart

If you buy "duty free" onboard it's usually held until the night before disembarkation as steve ch observes, but it's also easy and permitted to bring your favorite along or buy from room service (note that the prices in the room service menu will have 15% gratuity applied but will also include 6 small cans of your choice of mixer).
Jack E Dawson #7 Posted September 13 Personal experience confirms that BigMac1953 is 100% correct. On our crossing last year we brought 6 bottles of wine and one bottle of Jack Daniels. At checkin in Southampton, Cunard & security were fully aware of what what were we were carrying onboard. Jack
cpc3639 #8 Posted September 13 We also enjoy bringing our favourite drinks on board to enjoy whilst dressing for dinner. We even top up mixers if necessary at port calls and Cunard never have a problem with this.
Lauranne #9 Posted September 15 Thanks for the replies. We board later today from New York. We will purchase some wine and spirits prior to boarding. Laur

Laur I always bring a bottle of Gin or Vodka on board along with a Bottle of Banana Rum never a problem. Cunard treats you as an Adult.
