NCL Sun - Party of 9 for Specialty Restaurant - is it possible?

We were only allowed to make reservations for 6 people at a time.

So we have reservations for 4 - 3 - 2 (9 total) at specialty dining rooms. 3 separate reservations.

Will they put all 9 of us at the same table?

Has anyone else had a large group at the specialty restaurants?

We are eating at:

Moderno

Teppanyaki

Cagneys

Thank you in advance for you help.

IIRC, Teppanyaki was made into two tables from one during the recent drydock.  Old capacity was 12 and from looking at the new one, it looks like 16?  NCL used to have restaurant capacities on their website but I'm not seeing them now.

The issue on the smaller ships is they often don't let you book Teppanyaki in advance so you'd have to do on board anyways.  If I'm right about it being two tables of 8, then you'd have to split anyhow, however, the seating is close together.

Yes to this.  We were on the Sun last month, and we had 10 in our group.  Eight of us sat with one chef and the other two sat at the next table with the other chef (his back to us).  Close, and yet so far.

Thanks for confirming  Did they have any bookings pre cruise or did you have to do online?

The quasi-leader of our group didn't book online and instead we made the reservation as soon as we got onto the ship.  It was no problem getting it for the first night.

Edit to add:  I think our leader could have made the reservation by calling but online could not, as everyone would have had to make their own reservation and us all getting the same time that way was not possible.  We know it can usually be tweaked on board which is why we just waited to do it all together once we boarded.
