It varies. Look yours up here:

M is Mallory Square, B is pier B farther south, OM is Outer Mole.  Here is a map:

If you're at Outer Mole free shuttles are provided.

We've been at both the Outer Mole & Mallory Square. The free shuttle from the Outer Mole is good of course better is Mallory Square because you can come & go as you wish it's only a short 5-10 min. walk into town. lots to see & do enjoy your stop there.

It is my understanding that only smaller ships can dock at Mallory Square.  Larger ships dock at either pier B or the Outer Mole.

I am from Key West and that is correct.  NS will dock at either Pier B or OM.  Pier B is most ideal because its an easy walk in to town.  OM requires shuttling.

I think the Harbor Master makes the Call.

No, not really.  Pier B is a private dock, owned by the Margaritaville Resort.  The city owns Mallory and controls the OM, which is on Navy property.

Whatever ship this is of HAL's is about the largest that can fit at Mallory.

That looks to me like an S-class ... Maasdam, Veendam, former Ryndam or Statendam. Could they put a bigger ship at Mallory if nothing is at B?

This is the Nieuw Amsterdam at B with an RCI ship at Mallory:

That's Empress of the Seas at Mallory.  She's around 48,000GT.  HAL's S Class ships at around 55,000GT were about the largest ships I've seen at Mallory.

That ship is probably the Ryndam.  We sailed on her quite a few times and each time we were on her for stop at Key West, we were docked at Mallory Square.
