Hope you have smooth seas and a great time!!        John

Thanks.  That's the plan.

Was looking at the weather.  Looking good this far out.  I've been tracking my outbound flight...AA3638 (flying in morning of...those of you who want to flight shame me, don't bother.  I HAVE to do it this way).  That flight has been on time, or early for the last 3 weeks.  Feeling good about it.

There are NO hurricanes predicted next week.  Feeling good there, too.

Go West ... Bon Voyage 😘 & wish you fair winds & following seas, love those ports.

Here's a virtual send-off ... we had a great feast in Beantown, 1/2 mile or 10 minutes from Black Falcon Pier.

Good golly Miss Molly....that's a bunch of lobster.

Thanks, my friend!

I've done the horseback riding, ruins exploration, scuba/snorkel/ATV, etc excursions in Cozumel, Roatan and Cozumel.  This time round, I think I'm going to do the "chill out" excursions.

Anyone have opinions about the Segway tour in Costa Maya?  Anyone taken one of those little submarine tours?

Thx!

Well...the day is here....from 8/31 for a cancelled 9/1 cruise until today.

As far as I can tell.....all systems are GO.

The only downside, my trusty ebag backpack strap came off.  No way to get it to eBags for a remedy.  Went to Costco yesterday and snagged this nifty OGIO backpack yesterday for ~30 bucks!  Pretty nice...especially given the price.

-No impending hurricanes on the horizon.  —Breakaway should be pretty near the Miami pier

-Weather here is good, weather there is good.

-Direct flight, showing in time, with a track record of arriving early over the last month.

Waiting for UBER!  Here we go!

Good news and bad news.

Bad news first.  There is another category 5 hurricane churning in the Atlantic named Lorenzo.  You seem to have power over hurricanes and turn them into Cat 5 whenever you land in Miami to take your cruise.
Good news is it should not have any impact on your cruise.

Glad you gave it a second try.

Have a great cruise!

Nice day to wear shorts for sailaway, are you checked in yet ?

Nice pair of headphones to go with that new backpack ... Check that eBags warranty for your strap replacement, we own a bunch but terms for their no questions asked coverage apparently ... has changed. They should just send you a new one.

Super Shuttle is there waiting on me.....AND I’M THE ONLY PASSENGER!   Clear security by 9:00, after having to wait a bit for disembarking passengers to....well.....disembark....maybe 15 mins.

I’m steered to here....bypassing the lines to the HAVEN waiting area!

Where was I.....oh yeah.....

So far, thinks have gone exactly to plan.  I’d been up since 3:30-ish a.m.  and the few hours of sleep I did get, well....it wasn’t really sleep.  I’ll call it “reclining while naked”!

Here comes ‘ye ole 2nd wind!

This was about 10:45.

Instructions on early embarkation via The Haven!  Gotta admit, I felt a teeny bit embarrassed strolling past all the others waiting in the terminal while getting the hairy eyeball from them as we strolled right pat them.  That feeling went away.....quickly, however!

By 11-ish, we’re escorted into the Haven, where Bowen and his two assistants informed us of how they, along with our Butler (in my Suite, that was Narsisco) would take good care of us.

I don't know why I continue to torment myself by coming here to read these forums.  I have that feeling in my stomach that is anticipation mixed with excitement and my next cruise is still 124 days away.

This cruise has already started better than your last one since you have made it on the ship.  :classic_biggrin:

Hope you have a great cruise and looking forward to your review.  If possible, could you post pics of the MDR dinner menus?
