Aft Balconies on Royal Class (Sky Princess)

Recommended Posts

Can someone tell me if the aft balconies on the new Sky, which I am thinking is the same as the Regal, are at least partially covered?  I read that the Marin and Riviera (15 and 14) are totally exposed but the lower ones are partially covered.  Hoping someone can answer this before my final payment is due!  I do realize no one has sailed the Sky yet, but ....

TIA, susan

It looks like there is some overhang on decks 9 and 11.  There is not much of anything on the other decks.  Hope this helps!

The Sky is different from the Royal and Regal in that the aft sides are extended on Dolphin and Emerald (like the Majestic).

Thanks everyone. Especially for the pictures!   Booked Dolphin deck and I think we will be happy with that!

Sky Princess now has a small aft pool (Wake View Pool)on Lido deck 16 in the open area outside the WFM. (area that sticks out in the photo )

There is a bar and restrooms and I would imagine tables and chairs for those that want to eat outside similar to the other Royal Class ships.

So the aft balconies on Marina deck will be affected. Although not sure how much.

Here’s the CG image of the modified aft end of the Sky between decks 16 & 18 which is similar to other Princess ships.
