I wasn’t actually referring to doing away with the Connoisseur Club, it’s already been removed from the Navigator. They still have them on the remaining ships. I was saying I’d gladly give up the casino to have the Connoisseur Club...I get more enjoyment from cigars and cognac than I do from the casino games. But that’s just me, I guess...

Good to see they still have them on other ships for those who like to relax and have a smoke.
hammo #28 Posted November 21 So the difference between Regent and Celebrity regarding OBC seems to be this . (?) You are able to do this on Celebrity ... When you "cash" out OBC in the casino, whether you place slot machines or table games, you will be given promotion chips or slot credits. These chips or credits must be gambled and cannot be redeemed for cash. As you play these credits/chips, anything you win will be paid in normal chips/credits which can be redeemed for cash. Regent does not allow this I am told .
ronrick1943 #29 Posted November 21 Wow, that's a pretty nice plan-----however the casino doesn't get a lot of people on the cruises we've been on. We once when to a slot tournament, we were the only ones to show up.

However, within the first 5 days of our 10 day cruise, I won over $1,500 in the slots on 2 separate occasions. $1K during one afternoon session, and $500 during another evening visit. ☺️

Or in this case put it towards another cruise On a small ship like Navigator the casino wastes so much space, and so few use it , we just walk through to the theatre, the casino staff totally underemployed, often look bored and cheesed off on the lack of punters. As an earlier poster put only people to show for a slots event out of 490 passengers ;is this a good value for Regent?
