Finally got my wifi code. We went to Chops for dinner and when we got back to the cabin we found nothing had been done to the cabin all day.
Went to guest services to find out our cabin attendant is not on board. Guess they figured they would just not take care of us for a day. Nice.
They finally sent someone around about 9pm. We didn't even have a cruise compass

Wonder how that happens, must be 10 or 12 other cabins in the the same boat as you......maybe they pick up  a cabin steward attendent at the next stop or if you feel the ship slow to a crawl maybe someone is jumping onboard. Good luck with this situation, I'm sure this isn'tthe end of this issue..............heading to customer service.......cha ching  OBC

Great review so far. My wife and I are on next years cruise which had no sail by of the islands but we got a 6th fl obstructed balcony for $2363 total. Hopefully we can also catch a few price drops. If you get a chance can you see how bad the obstruction is on the 6th fl balconies? Obviously only if you meet someone in one, lol.

What a busy day, we gave been Ubering all over. We started the day with a ride over to the Seattle Center where we'r used our city passes to go to the exhibits, Space Needle, MoPop and Chihuly glass museum.

It had been years since i have been up in the Space Needle and i did not find it and imposing as before. Cloudy day but still some nice views.

Aloha,

Well it's been two years since our last Hawaii cruise so it's time for another. We are Bill and Marie from the Seattle area and you are more than welcome to join us on Ovation for our unusual cruise to Hawaii. I say unusual as after we depart Vancouver we stop in Seattle for a day before heading across the Pacific. So Saturday we get to play tourist in our hometown. In addition when we get to Kauai we just sail by and don't actually stop. That is a first for us.

Also if you care to stick around, once we arrive in Honolulu we plan to fly to Molokai for 3 days than back to Oahu for three days in Waikiki.

Should be fun

Later today I will be stopping at the Seattle-Tacoma airport to pick up the rental car we will be using to drive over the border to Canada. Tomorrow night we will be staying at the Pan Pacific Vancouver after catching a terrific rate on Hotwire just last week. We get to drop the rental car right there at the hotel and as you can tell from the picture getting to the ship will be a breeze too. 😋

I just looked at Hotwire today for my trip in October. Was it a secret deal. If it was Do you mind sharing the amenities/area you selected. Have a great trip.

Thanks!

Our last stop wad the Pike Place Market where we had lunch away Three Sisters in Post Alley then wandered the market to take in the sights. We did buy a bouquet of flowers, I'll pay pictures of them when we get a vase.

Yes it was a secret deal. It was narrowed down to a 4 1/2 star in the Downtown Coal Harbour area,  The secret deal showed the hotel as 4.7 out of 5 and clicking on location is showed 0.0 miles from Canada Place. Had to be Pan Pacific

Also show like 4600 reviews on tripadvisor that makes it a giveway to be the Pan  Pacific.

Hi PC Walton (or anyone else currently on the Ovation), could you do me a huge favor? I know this is a long shot but any help would be greatly appreciated. We were on last sailing that ended on 9/20 on the Ovation. Our stateroom number is 13136, we believe we left two Wells Fargo Envelopes full of cash totaling well over $4000 on the desk counter in our stateroom. We must've forgotten to pack it after leaving our stateroom attendant her tips before leaving our room. Our stateroom attendant's name is Grace. Could you kindly look her up on deck 13 and ask about it, or check with guest services. I mostly consider the money lost but figured I'll give it a try. Much appreciated!
