We hit up Batch Gastropub since we were at the Hampton Inn & Suites next door and they had given us free drink vouchers.  Food was pretty tasty too.

We've eaten here as well -- twice, actually. Food was good after a day of travelling.

At our hotel.  Checked in immediately with a free JS upgrade.  Liking the Hyatt Centic Brickell so far.  Pics of the room to come later after dinner.

The taxi, retired cop car, was a treat. AC didn’t make it to us, but hey it’s Miami and 92F. There are people wearing jeans outside.

Yay, another week of minimizing my computer screen and going into “work mode” whenever my boss walks by 😺 when we all know what I’m actually reading.

Do you have a favorite ship or class, just curious as to what you look for when choosing your cruises.  We thought Oasis class was our favorite until we did repositioning cruise on Serenade, just loved it.  Going on Majesty in November and looking forward to a new adventure.

I am interested to hear about the laser tag.  Do you have to book pre cruise or while on board?  If, you have to book while onboard, where?  Can a 10 yr old go by herself or if an adult has to accompany her?

I took my 2 young nephews on Symphony in June.  Sign up for laser tag is on deck 4 by Studio B on embarkation day.  We were only allowed to sign them up for one session.  You can go in the standby line if you want to go again, they moved rather quickly as a lot of people do not show up for their reservations.  I had to accompany the boys but did not need to participate in the game.

Speaking of classic lines.... do you ever voice record your texts?

I do, and I should check them carefully before hitting send. I hit send on this one while walking the show field a few weeks ago. Thankfully it only went to Lisa.

I’m just thankful I didn’t send it to the wrong person. I do that once in a while too.

Oh this is a good one😀😀😀

Oasis Class hands down for us. However we have sailed Radiance and Serenade a total of three times and they were the perfect ship for the itineraries of Alaska and Hawaii repositioning.  The shows were not as good, as to be expected compared to Oasis Class. We also sailed Indy once and just found it to be half of the Oasis Class.  Literally it is.

when we get on the ship some scopes will happen.

My gut tells me that the Vision class is not Andrew’s favorite.

Solid guess.

Yeah, the flowrider is too small on Vision class.

They have one, legit?  Is it a turtle pool?  I honestly don’t know.

We had a nice walk back from dinner and stopped at the exotic CVS. After purchasing some DayQuil horse pills, some extra sunscreen and drinks we continued our walk back to the hotel.

Along both ways of the walk way we saw these scooters.  So many they seemed to be abandoned.  I can imagine the drunks scooting home on these on a Friday night, if not stumbling over them on their walk.

This woman was just getting on and was about to scan with the app.  I posed out loud to Lisa if we could take them to the port tomorrow.  They should be able to drag a suitcase behind them. Heck we saw a family of three on one.  Reminds me of the mopeds in Cozumel.

We are now flaked out, and soon to be filling myself with nighttime meds.

We have the Weather Channel on with Heavy Rescue 401.  It is filmed in my proverbial back yard. I even travelled on some of the roads today.

Gonna last as long as possible, but it’s gonna be an early night tonight.

What is your hotel’s name?  I am looking for a Miami hotel.  How did you get to the hotel - taxi (how much) and the port (how much).

I have been in FLL where people just drop the scooters all over the place, on the grass, and in the middle of the sidewalks and you have to try to get around them.
