Carambola or Marriott for a beach day

Recommended Posts

We are going to be in St Kitts next month and we are still trying to decide on a beach.  We were originally thinking we'd just do the Marriott Day pass but came across Carambola Beach Club.  When we're in port we'll be the only ship but the ship offers an excursion to Carambola and don't know how or if that will affect the crowds there.  What have been some of your experience at these places?

To paraphrase Shakespeare.

"To T'erd or not to T'erd, that is the question"

I've been to both. Personally I would never book a ship excursion to a beach unless it was the only way to get there (st. Barts from st. Martin...). Both are in the same general area but Marriott is on the Atlantic side. I'd take the Marriott any day. Pool and beach vs rows of chairs and beach.
