Hairdryers - Escape

Recommended Posts

Can anyone tell me how the hairdryers are on the Escape? Do they have decent power or shall I bring my own?

I don't care for the ones that you have to hold the button while its operating.

Thank you

Personally I bring my own.  If it’s something that matters so much to me I would rather have mine.

I'd say I'm somewhat picky about my hairdryer and I found them to be fine.  If you do a quick Google you'll find pics -- here's a link to what they look like... this says for Breakaway but they're the same.  NCL Hairdryer

Thanks so much for the quick responses, you've been a tremendous help!  Actually, the hairdryers

don't look bad.  They even have the concentrator attached.  Thanks again.

Hairdryers are regular size and are powerful. I have thick hair and it does the job. They are NOT like the hairdryers in hotels. No need to pack your own.

I'm really glad you posted this question. My wife was planning to bring her hairdryer with us on the Escape in a week and a half but after I showed her this post, she said she'd leave it at home. Now her suitcase will only weigh 141lbs instead of 143lbs!

My teenager packed one and the one on board was fine for both of us. Had no need to bring our own. Save the space for something else! 🙂
