Some of the ports were different then but it was an amazing experience. Thank you for posting.

aliaschief Posted October 4, 2019 #5 Share Posted October 4, 2019 (edited) Another great professional video. So nice meeting both of you on the Maasdam last spring. We would have to place this cruise in our bucket list. Noticed the Chief Engineer, who was Chief Engineer on our past Prisendam cruises. Fine gentleman who loves his dam ships. Name? Escapes me! We are a couple of weeks from cruising on the MS Rotterdam for 32 days. First cruise since the May, Maasdam French Polynesian and so looking forward to being back at sea. Thanks again. The first so much more memorable due to the moving services & WW2 Vets on board then as seen in part 1 & 2 of the original video in 2008. many thanks for watching regards

Bellair Posted October 5, 2019 Author #14 Share Posted October 5, 2019 Greetings & thank you for watching. yes it was a rare cruise that last happened 12 years ago on the Statendam. very remote areas with some ports not visited by many cruise ships. a surprise was passing the old Ryndam with both ships Responding with their horns blazing ( 33 mins approx. into video) really amazing! regards
sevenseasnomad Posted October 5, 2019 #15 Share Posted October 5, 2019 Marvelous videos. I wanna go. I wanna go. This trip, like others on the bucket list, will have to wait for retirement. In the meantime, I might use you videos in my geography class, as they demonstrate different cultures quite well. Thanks.
