Indulgence Package.

Has anyone  had the Indulgence Package and did you think it was worth it?

It depends what interests you. But we had the most expensive package it was fine but because of cancellations of excursions we could not use it’s full value. Likewise we did not use the full value of the spa credit but that was personal choice

It also depends on the length of the cruise, the longer it is, the better value for money.

As uktog says you have to decide how much use you would make of each element. You can then look at how much the elements you would use would cost if purchased separately.

For example a full WiFi package for one device is $19.95 a day, so if you really wanted to have two packages that would be $39.90 a day (but you can share one package between 2 devices, you just have to log one device off before logging the other one on).

The Ulimate beverage package is $22.95 a day pp - that’s $45.90 a day for 2 (but could you be happy with the included alcohol or do you always drink things that are only in the Ultimate beverage package).

On top of those there’s the Chefs Table for 2 at $90pp (I think) or three Table tour at $70 pp, 2 bags of laundry (bag of laundry offer on the ship is usually $40 a bag) plus the $700 Shorex credit and the $250 spa credit.

We’ve purchased it on longer cruises and find it to be an excellent value for us

We purchased the Indulgence package for our 12 day cruise and loved it...used every penny of all the perks!

The value of the perks is lower if you have loyalty as your internet and drinks package is less because of discounts. On the Transatlantic we will not buy as there are no land discoveries of note offered. Had they offered the one we were to have taken last year but lost when the ship couldn’t call it might have interested us though the savings would have been less than advertised

And of course no point in doing them if you are a solo traveller.
