Here's an interesting look into the workings of the Crown Princess

Recommended Posts

I stumbled on this video today of the Crown Princess, from a series called, "Monster Ships".

It's loaded with behind the scenes drama, including leaky water pipes, and missing cases of peeled garlic.

That was filmed whilst we where onboard back in February, we briefly appear in the show ( fame at last ). The film crew was just 1 cameraman, no director etc, they had a fixer from Princess media office in Southampton, spoke to the Princess fixer, she always accompanies UK based documentaries whilst onboard to assist the tv crew in there work.

Today's smaller equipment makes it much easier/cheaper to produce a show such as this.

Growing up, I first worked with film, and 2 inch wide video tape. Very heavy stuff indeed, and hardly portable.

This was super!  We are on the Crown in February on a b2b and this really makes you appreciate how hard everyone works.

This was a fabulous posting and I, too, thank you for posting it.

Amazing the precision and flawlessness of the crew in action behind the scenes.  The inner workings that I never considered but without whom the cruise would not be so enjoyable.  Kudos to the crew!
