Symphony 2020 Singapore to Rome - Excursions

Recommended Posts

We have noticed that Crystal have not listed any excursions for Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat even though there are excursions listed for ports before and after these three ports.

Does anybody have any idea why these three ports are not listed.

Thanks in advance

I don't know, but would guess that Crystal has relationships with tour providers in the other ports and have an idea what is available. They probably haven't called at the ports you mention as often recently. Nothing is firmed up until about 6 months before embarkation, then you should see prices and have the ability to reserve.

both of the ocean ships have been here fairly recently - Symphony in November 2017 and Serenity in late April 2018.  The Esprit is also due in Dubai in a few weeks for several cruises prior to relocating down to the Seychelles and Crystal seem to use the same local tour operators whenever any of them call in these ports.... 🤔

Anne,

Many thanks for the reply.

We were on the Symphony in November 2017 and know that Dubai and Abu Dhabi are regular stops for Crystal ships.

We find it puzzling that there are no listed excursions at Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat but there are listed excursions in Salalah and Aqaba.

If you see others it is likely that the are finalizing the tours for these ports with the tour operator along with pricing for 2020.

You could call Crystal Land Programs and ask them directly when they expect to open them in PCPC for booking.

I just checked the November itineraries for the Esprit and whilst there is no guarantee the Symphony would be the same, there is a full list of excursions for all the ports of call, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Muscat....   Looking through them would give you an idea of what may be offered on your cruise...
