What are the dining hours for Alfredo's and La Mer?

We will be sailing on the Sky January and have two more cruises booked on the Sky at a later date.

In the past,  we have booked mid ship balcony cabins on deck 8 , above the Princess shops on the Royal and Regal.  It was always a quiet area.

Le Mer and Alfredo's both have an outside eating area below the cabins  we booked.  Might need to switch cabins if dining hours are late.

Thank you,

Enjoy your cruise.

If you look on the last page of the Patters that was posted it lists dining times.  Both are open til 10:00 pm.

Is the "World Fresh Marketplace" any different than the previous buffets? Pics please?! ENJOY!

Pics and written info would be appreciated. I for one am a tad nervous if there are changes as the other Royal Class ships have the best buffets in the cruise industry IMHO and fear that WFM on Sky is a marketing code word for food cutbacks with gimmicky food selections. Hope I am wrong.

I read a post on another site that suggested you make reservations for the shows.  I have seen this on large ships on another line but have not experienced this on Princess.  Are they doing reservations for the production shows on the Sky?

the beauty of Princess compared to a majority of the other lines is you never have to make reservations for shows. Thank goodness. in my opinion with having to actually create a schedule in a plan while on vacation is not much of a vacation.

Thanks for all of the information and pictures, dides.

Different format for Patters and the Hamburger of the day appears removed from Favorites on dinner menu.  That was a secret to many.  It is a very high quality burger that is served in different formats every evening in the MDR.  Often ordered it a perfect Medium Rare on nights that I wasn’t that hungry.

Thanks also for the current movies.  I appreciate that information.

And, I hope Carlos Oscar is still the Comedian when The Sky gets to Florida.  We enjoy him.

Safe Journeys, Paul

Totally noticed the missing burgers on the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed the Ernesto Burger especially when it was free in the dining room.

Bedding question.....top sheets or just duvet?

Thanks so much for doing this!

In our suite we have both - the duvet was kicked off (or slid off) during the night so I was shivering a bit with just the sheet lol

To answer a recurring question, note that the Dining section shows Estrella (?) Anytime dining restaurant as serving lunch, 12:00 to 1:30, on embarkation day. From experience, I can tell you that it will not be crowded, and that the Beef Tenderloin is wonderful! We eat in the buffet most of the time, but make a point to go to MDR for lunch upon boarding.

It's 8am and I am sitting in the lounge area of our suite - B102 - with the curtains pulled so Chris can sleep on a bit. I will recap on what we got up to last night.

Muster was in the Princess Theatre with CD Alex talking a lot about how the entertainment on the ship is being revamped with lots of new ideas from his team. So will be interesting to see what we get!

We went back up to the room to change for dinner and then had a quick half hour in the Elite lounge in Take 5. The normal 6.59 cocktail list was available so we chose one each- lots of attentive waiters.

We didn't eat any of the nibbles as we knew Sabatinis was coming:

Sabatinis decor is very much based on the Harmony design for Majestic -  missing the Italian vibe I think!

Rumour is they have something totally different planned for the Enchanted.

We were seated by the window and treated to a wonderful meal with great service. I will include the menu for reference.

Hope your trip is going smoothly so far. Living vicariously through you bud.

Please, if you may, shoot some photos of the fitness center for me. Just a couple of the weights and the equipment. Nothing major.

And then a few more of the buffet area.

Hope you have a blast. Savor every minute of your seven days.

Continuing with last night's Sabatinis meal. Here is the dessert menu:

The Chocolate Journey was delicious - wish we could enjoy it all

We headed up to the prom deck and I picked up a sports band from Ocean Front (which hadn't turned up with my medallion order). We caught the end of Majority Rules in a packed Princess Live! by sitting on a sofa in the corridor  And then moved in on a nice banquette for karaoke. The venue was a only a third full and we had the same, but good, singers coming back again and again.

The redesign has much better karaoke screens and you get a lot more passing traffic now the venue is open like Explorers - the stage is closer to the corridor though so people get more involved

One thing we noticed was a lack of bar staff so we had a long wait between drinks. And Ocean Now wasn 't available here.

Chris has been testing Ocean Now ordering cocktails  hot drinks and croissants in various locations and it has been pretty quick and accurate!

We stayed on for a fun Miracle Lyrical game which was better attended and then called it a night.

Interested in your opinion of the Retreat Pool area now that the area is smaller with the addition of cabins on both port and starboard sides.

It doesn't feel confined and was actually deserted on this first sea day whereas the lido pools were crowded.

It also had these chunky blue chairs in front of the bar which we loved

I was surprised at how windy it was considering it was now surrounded but just as bad as the Royal retreat lol

The glass panels to the room area is tinted blue so the passengers in those rooms won't live in a total goldfish bowl

Hi, no different prices on board for Enclave. MedallionNet is available at 9.99 a day on embarkation day only which they say is a 50% saving.  Our plat/elite  offer was 52.99 for 7 days.

Sandra and Chris

Is the pricing for a single device or the up to 4 pricing? We've got back to back cruises in December and become platinum for the second sailing. Debating booking ahead of if we'll get a better offer once onboard for the second sailing

Thank you so much for taking the time from your vacation to show all of us the new  ship!!!

Re: your pictures of the Retreat pool.

I thought the Retreat pool on the newer ships was covered.

It doesn't appear to be the case from your photos. 😞

????????????
