Veendam will be at pier 26 (port to) from 0530-1700.  She will be heading out on a 7-day Western Caribbean cruise (this was originally scheduled to be a Cuban cruise until that came to an abrupt halt).

I should be on hand for the Sail Away.  We now have 3 ships home porting in Ft. Lauderdale.

There will be more coming to town.   It is good to see HAL activity in Fort Lauderdale once more.

Thanks for your report.

Looks like Zuiderdam will be consigned to the out of the way dock again.   I think I will be at the show tonight wheen Veendam sails.  9PM my time.  Enjoy the sailaway.

Checking in, looks like a beautiful day compared to here, overcast, cold wind 10C.

Just off the Veendam today.....all is well 🙂  Perhaps the most pleasant surprise was that happy hour was a very flexible hour...in fact it flexed to 2 hours in some cases.  Additionally, the casino hostess comped us drinks on 3 or 4 nights and I was playing a 10 blackjack table.

Unless I'm mistaken, which occurs on a regular basis, we don't see many non-Behemoth-class RCI ships in Port Everglades
