Buck Island Catamaran Excursion - Not through the ship.

Recommended Posts

Looking for options for an excursion to Buck Island.  We prefer to use local companies as the ships excursions are typically too crowded and over priced.   Any recommendations for local Catamaran/Snorkel Tours to Buck Island?  Thank you.

I’m still on my cruise and haven’t yet had time to write a review, but wanted to recommend the SV Pisces, a 47’ sailing catamaran. We had a wonderful time, we were two of a group of 12.

I found and booked through TripAdvisor.  They are located at the yacht club that is literally at the main cruise dock (where Havensight Mall sits).  No taxi needed.

Thanks Nutella93...you answered my post about a cat that only carries 10-12 people. I just booked your suggestion! I am so over those excursions with 70-80 people!

I am so glad!  I’ve been on several smaller cat/snorkel trips and this did not disappoint. Great captain and first mate. Was hoping that we’d go under sail but the wind was only at 6 knots. The boat is beautiful, a newer Leopard.

For those watching this thread, just be sure to check dates in advance, as they also book weeklong charters and may not be available for the shorter day/half-day trips.

Thank you.  Sounds like just what I was looking for.
