Beach wedding, dinner, hotel

Having a small wedding,  May 2020, 19 people, looking for a place for dinner, over night stay, with 15 boarding ship in the morning.  We have done some research. Any info appreciated.

If looking at Fort Lauderdale, I’d suggest Lago Mar. It’s directly on the beach.

Prices should reasonable in May - I would definitely stay downtown.  Several hotels in the Mary Brickell area (Hampton Inn is very popular with cruisers) and many dining options nearby.  Intercontinental is another great option, with views of the port from some rooms.  Doubletree and next door Marriott are two more options with some rooms offering a view of the port.

 

Any downtown hotel will be a short Uber/Lyft or taxi ride to the port the next morning. What's you budget for hotels and what kind of food (seafood, Italian, Cuban, etc.) are you looking for?

Royal Palm South Beach.

 

Gorgeous property and hotel in South Beach.  Lower end of luxury hotel so not crazy expensive like The Delano or Setai.  Also take a look at The South Seas and Loews.
