Problem booking 2021 cruise

I was interested in booking a 2021 cruise and gave a list of preferred cabins to my TA. I have been offered a different cabin, on a different deck and in what I consider a poor location.I was also inform by my TA the cabins I preferred were available but the cruise line would not release them.Has anyone experienced a similar situation?

Yes.  It happens all the time.

 

One reason we used to use an agent was they often had access to cabins which hadn't been released on line.

No. It doesn’t sound you’re using a very good TA, I suggest you use a specialist online cruise TA.

in our short time cruising we were advised to always use a TA with a dedicated cruise consultant  we never had a problem finding what we want with them
