Altos de Chavon & River cruise excursion

I am searching for reviews on this Royal Caribbean excursion. Not sure if it is worth the price. I'm finding reviews of Altos de Chavon direct at a much less expensive price 

 

Can anyone who has taken this excursion let me know.

 

Trying to find something enjoyable and reasonable to do in Cap Cana.

I loved Altos de Chavon! It is the most amazing town in the middle of the jungle. When we visited, there were shuttle bus tours available right at the dock. Once there, I think you can book your own river tour. (If you want to hike down and up those stairs). Someone offered it to us as a tour once we were there. The shuttles run back and forth to the port. 

 

We spent much of the day there, wandering, taking photos, shopping, having lunch. It is a beautiful place and such an unexpected destination.
