medicalRHIT #1 Posted November 11 Hello, I will be going on the Rhapsody of the Seas next year, and I have a few questions to ask. How is the food in the MDR and buffet? is the MDR open for lunch on embarkation day? What movies are playing in the cabins? Where are the non smoking areas on the ship? Thank you for your help.
Norwich Cruiser #2 Posted November 11 Sailed on Rhapsody the last three years food in both the MDR and Windjammer cafe we found to be excellent as was the crew. MDR not open for lunch on embarkation day. Movies will change periodically and we never watched any in our stateroom but they did show a movie twice early and late every evening on the big screen by the pool. Outside smoking area clearly defined port side.

Smoking allowed in the casino 24 hours.
pink845 #4 Posted November 12 If I remember correctly, there were also times when they showed movies in the theatre during the day.. We loved the Rhapsody, sailed her a couple of years back Venice to Venice. Was so simple getting from one venue to the next on the ship. Everything important happened in the Piazza or Centrum and it had a really small town vibe to it. No glitz and glamour like the Oasis style ships but sometimes with very port intensive days all you need is a simple ship. Food and entertainment absolutely fine. I do remember as we were in Europe, TV was pretty limited as were movies in the cabin, however.
Norwich Cruiser #5 Posted November 12 If you want to watch any evening activity in the centrum especially the flags parade the seats are extremely limited and I would suggest that you would need to take your seat about an hour or so before the entertainment commences.
