Joy Dress Code

Recommended Posts

Frequent Princess cruiser trying NCL for the first time. Dining at speciality restaurants every night of the 7 day cruise. My question is: what’s the dress code? Are jeans acceptable with a dressier too? Resort casual at all restaurants? Thanks.

Shorts are allowed in all restaurants for all meals except Le Bistro and Ocean Blue which require gents to wear long pants (jeans or dockers are fine) and a collared shirt (polo shirt).

NCL embraces “dress up or not”. You are on vacation and should not feel compelled to get dressed up in fancy dress.

It really is  your choice how much you dress up or not.  You will see people in sparkly formal ware and you will see people in shorts and t-shirts.  The majority are in between:  resort casual to dressy casual.  Lots of men in chinos and polos.  Women in everything from dress pants and blouses to sun dresses to jeans and nice tops.
