novicecruiser1 Posted February 2, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2006 It looks like Aruba will be celebrating Carnaval Monday while the Brilliance is in port on 2/27/06. One Aruba web site says that it's a "national holiday - official day of rest". Does anyone know if the shops will be open that day? (I've also posted this on the meet and mingle thread.) Thanks for any help you can give me!

novicecruiser1 Posted February 3, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted February 3, 2006 This does help - I was hoping that wasn't the answer, though! Do you know if any of the shops near the cruise terminal will be open or all they all closed for the day? Thanks!
Kibaima Posted February 5, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 5, 2006 Most or all shops will be closed. My guess is that many restaurants will still be open. With a cruise ship in port you may even find some shops close to the terminal open that day. I hope you're lucky and find some open.
