Has Anyone Received 20% Refund Voucher for Missed Ocean Cay?

We are just back from a wonderful Meraviglia cruise on 11/24 and wondered if anyone has received the 20% refund voucher for missing Ocean Cay. We have a final payment deadline for our next cruise fast approaching and are hoping to use the voucher. if you did receive it, about how long did it take? Was it in an email? Also, if you used it, was it fairly straightforward or filled with rules and exceptions? Thanks in advance!

 We got ours the Tuesday after our cruise. That was from the November 9th cruise on the Seaside. 

 There arent a lot of terms. Valid for 2 years and must be used before final paymenr.

Super! They were so vague about it onboard and when we called customer service they had no idea. I’ll stop worrying! 😁 I am thankful for the gesture. It was generous.

I would suggest keep checking your Junk folder if you don’t already. I think that is where ours was. We too are thankful for the gesture and are putting it towards our next MSC cruise, we have the Grandiosa booked in 2020.

Vague for sure!  So jealous that you are heading out again so soon.  Enjoyed meeting you guys onboard,  Did the group excursion in Roatan come together in the end?

Wondering if voucher can be used on a future sailing that has already been discounted?  Like a voyagers+ sailing or a sailing with a casino voucher.

received the release on the 25th while on board the ship.  Keep checking your junkmail as MSC sometimes end up in there.

 

I'm hopeful to take another cruise with this 20% off PLUS 30% off from the casino.  The Yacht club was really nice

One of my clients from the 11/23 Seaside sailing got their certificate this morning. They are slowly but surely sending.

We are still waiting for our voucher. Calling MSC doesn’t help. We were told that the vouchers are processed on the ship and that the land side has nothing to do with it. They stated that they have no way of communicating with the people who process them. Communication still seems to be the number one issue MSC needs to address.

Sounds to me like a lack of interest and a lack of knowledge by the land based staff, after all the ships have contact to land by one of those magic things called the Telephone.

I received mine from the Meraviglia repositioning cruise two days after the sailing and it came from their Fort Lauderdale office and an MSC Cruises USA email address. Be sure to check your spam email and whatever email you used for the cruise. If your TA did your paperwork for you, it might've gone to them if you used one.

Thank you for the info. Nothing in the spam folder and we booked directly. Interesting that you received your voucher from the Fort Lauderdale office as they told me they have nothing to do with it. It’s been 8 days. I’ll give it a couple more and then listen to the awful hold music on speakerphone for an hour again. 🙄

Nothing has come to us either--nothing in Spam.  They sure could find us before the cruise when they kept sending those upgrade emails--those never went to spam!

I just sent an email to our TA to inquire.  He was on the 3-day Meraviglia cruise right before our sailing, so I'm hoping he'll have some info he can share.

We’re still waiting. Multiple phone calls, emails, and requests for contact on their website concerning this and other issues remain unanswered. I’m losing my affinity for MSC.

I was on that sailing never received a voucher.  I called reservations and had them apply credit amount to a future booking while on the phone. Just provide your original booking number.

Have not gotten mine either.  Hi l2floAt.....merry Christmas. We enjoyed meeting you both so much.  Still playing catch up but I’ll write soon.  Hope you have a great holiday. Hugs...
