Good upgrade price

On the NYE Meraviglia Cruise . Got an upgrade notice from an oceanview to balcony room. Starting low bid of $60 pp. What’s a good bid or should I just keep it at 60. I like my cabin location so I won’t be upset if I don’t win

Typical full price difference on a seven day Meraviglia between OV and Balcony cabins is usually around $100 to $150pp and at that price you got to choose your cabin.   Prices may have been different for the NYE cruise.  MSC does not take Bella or Fantastica into consideration with bidding so even if you're currently in a Fantastica OV by making a bid you could still win a Bella balcony.  While your experience would stay Fantastica you could get a deck eight life boat obstructed view Bella cabin or a location no one wanted like under the pool deck or buffet.  There's a possibility of getting a good cabin but I would be prepared for a bid to get one of the worst balcony cabins on a sold out sailing because there probably won't be many empty suites for the people who initially booked the better balconies to be upgrading to.

Got notice this morning won the $60 upgrade bid,  A midship 10th floor cabin now in the Fantasica experience.  Dont know if I get those perks but my dining time did change also.

It’s good with the original booking I got the easy drink package
