Most people are familiar with the "Would You Rather?" game.  Let's start one here, focused on cruising.  Each person will answer the previous post, then ask their own question.  I'll go first.

Would you rather... (I vote #2)

1) Arrive into the embarkation city the day of your cruise, have no time to spare, and worry yourself crazy about missing your ship.

2) Arrive into the embarkation city very early the day before, be bored silly the whole time, and have no way to get to anywhere fun.

 My vote is #2

1. Board early on embarkation day to get your vacations on board going as soon as possible, or,

2. Board late oping to avoid a rush and a possible delay in your cabin being ready?

Would you rather???

#1: Take a ocean cruise with 4 or 5 thousand people...  or

#2: Take a nice slow river cruise and see more of the world...

Ocean cruise, I'd be bored out of my mind with the river cruise!

Would you rather:

1.) Eat at a specialty dining restaurant paying an outrageous upcharge but have better food or

2.) Eat in the MDR for free, with less food choices

I would rather eat in a specialty but only if the up charge was reasonable.

Would you rather:

1.  have a table big enough for just your party at dinner in the MDR? or

2.  join other random people for dinner at a much larger table?

I choose 1. have a table for my party

Would you rather:

1. Book excursions only through the cruise line even if more expensive and have no fear of missing the boat? or

2. Go with better excursions with private vendors  even if you have to run for it at the pier to avoid missing the boat?
