Bowl Football Games Dec. 28th - January 2nd Cruise - Dream

I apologize if this has been asked and answered - couldn't find anything current during search.

 

30th Anniversary Cruise was booked a year ago.  We leave on Saturday, December 28th. 

 

 Spouse discovered OU plays in a bowl game on the day of departure (at 4 p.m. - sail away).   Any suggestions on what, if any, is the best way to try to  allow him to watch this game?   After some research on Carnival - there does appear to be any wifi plans available that allow streaming.

 

Thanks in advance for any input.  He will get over it if he can't watch it but I would like to accommodate if possible. 😊

That game is on ESPN. They should have it on in the casino bar. ESPN channels are no problem. It's the games on other networks that will be an issue.

Okay -thank you!   He could totally sit in the bar and watch it (he is a preacher so that will be an adventure😂).  

 

When, if ever, do they project it on the big screen by the pool?

Only the Super Bowl is guaranteed to be on the big screen.

In terms of the bowl games, they may or may not be shown, depending on whether or not the channels they carry get the game.

Out of Galveston they do it for I think cowboys and texans games. Out of New Orleans they do it for saints games. If the Dream were still out of New Orleans you’d probably have a good shot since OU is playing LSU. But a lot of okies cruise out is galveston so maybe you have a chance. I’d plan on the casino bar though.

Hopefully the Legend Carries the Gators Game on the 30th it is on ESPN as well

Should be on in the sports bar and sometimes the TV in the casino. We will be on the Horizon for the NFL play off. 5th of Jan thru the 19th. Would be nice if they had some of the games on the Lido, we will see
