Midship, or you can walk up the stairs from O'Sheahan's.  Used to be the iCafe

If I remember correctly, there's also a door into this lounge from the deck 9 cabin hallways. It's a single door, not hugely marked, and easy to miss, because it looks just like all the service area doors in the hallway.

We've been on the Dawn twice, and enjoyed both cruises (one in 2011, one in 2018). As many others have said, it really depends on what you want from a cruise. We don't need the rope courses, water slides, etc, and we actually don't go to many shows. Decent food and a comfortable cabin with a good itinerary are what we need, and the Dawn is fine in those categories.

In both cases, we sailed in a Forward Penthouse. We love those cabins on the Jewel class (slightly larger) ships, and they're just as good on the Dawn class although the cabins and balcony are a little smaller.

Absolutely correct, a door on each side of the hallway, both starboard & portside - there is a small, discrete sign on the door, eye level that can be easily missed, even if your stateroom is nearby or across from it.  It is shown on the deckplan but most folks overlooked it as a quiet lounge, place to read & chat or do knitting ( ... seasoned/solo cruisers seemed to know this semi-hideaway.)  It was still the internet cafe back in 2005 when she was homeport in NY

Comfortable long & single sofa/chairs ... small coffee tables & high back chairs, laid out in small clusters - our cabins were spread out on 3 different decks and it became our meet-up/gathering location - easy to get to via the midship elevators or walk up from lobby or OSH.

I remember that door. When it was the icafe, it said "emergency exit" on the icafe side, and it was very heavy.

Yep I used this lounge several times on our cruise last year as we had an inside cabin on deck 9.  The doors on deck 9 are definitely easy to miss...I knew they were there and still sometimes walked past them. We intentionally booked our interior cabin on the Dawn this year on deck 9 again to have easy access to this lounge.
