Extremely disappointed in princess

OK, here's what really happened … 

 

there was a price drop and the MINI-suite was the same price as the original booked balcony … and the OP stated she did NOT refare the price drop … 

 

I'm absolutely sure that this is what actually happened … and there was " a failure to communicate" between the Princess rep and the OP as to whether this was an upgrade, a refare under the same promotion, or a completely new booking

 

ab-so-lute-ly … maybe ...🙄

It should have been written as to para-phrase the agent: "I have upgraded you."   Once this happened, the original poster could

reasonably expect the upgrade to a mini-suite.

 

Hopefully, this was one of the calls that princess records for training purposes, and can review.

 

I really think you should treat the posts here as casual conversation.

What people post is not a court transcript for you to parse each word.

 

The first sentence in your reply was: "I can understand OP's frustration and I don't fault her for trying."

 

...that's really all  that matters.

 

If you just want to gratutiously bash my writing, knock yourself out...

Some people feel the OP was an impatient freebie-seeking ingrate.

Some people feel the OP got the shaft by the CSR who made a promise and failed to deliver.

 

It's pretty clear which one best suits the OP. :classic_wink:

Update *****
I called and spoke to someone in corporate and was told that the notes from the agent stating that I was upgraded to a mini suite mysteriously disappeared but they could offer me a free balcony breakfast or specialty restaurant free for the mix up. I decided to wait to see if the price drops for the mini suite to book an upgrade and pay the difference. I really appreciate everyone’s advice and help in resolving this situation, I have learned a lot about human nature in this thread some of you have been very helpful and some of you have been very rude but I appreciate all opinions..I will update everyone on the final outcome and if you have any advice for me please share

Same here. Better to go to the source to try for a resolution then to vent on here. I do believe many are trying to help you but needed more information to offer constructive help. Watch for price drops now.
