Are speciality restaurants more expensive on holiday sailings?

We ate at the Tuscan Grill on the Summit last night - great meal, but we were charged $70 per person.   I thought it was no more than $55.   Is there a holiday surcharge?

I was thinking the same thing as prices for Christmas last year were $55 but increased to $70 this year.

Yes,  the Specialty Restaurants are more expensive during the Holidays.  Supply and demand is one factor. Another factor was be enhancements to the menu.

The menu was not enhanced but the price was $70 pp. The enhanced menu was served on Christmas Eve and was $119 pp. They did give a 30% discount on first night. Tuscan Grill is not worthy of the 

up charge.

We are on board Solstice right now and our sailing included Christmas and New Year's holidays. The answer to your question is yes. The prices for the specialty restaurants are elevated got holiday sailings. And the prices for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are even higher ($120 pp) although a special menu was prepared.

Geeze, Celebrity's specialty restaurants are already too expensive.  We are happy dining in the MDR>

I was not aware that prices in the specialty restaurants were higher during holidays. Are there holidays other than Christmas/New Years where the prices are higher? TIA
