Good Eats in Nassau?

Not a fan of Nassau but feel the need to get off the boat and find a spot to grab a bite.  NO chains (Fat Tuesdays, Senor Frogs).  Anyone ever been to The Bearded Clam?  Or can you recommend a place that's within walking distance to the port?

I'm with you.  Not big a fan of Nassau and have been there several times.

I've gone here before a few times:  Lukka Kairi Restaurant  -- NOT the Lukka Kairi Waterfront Bar & Grill.

It is right on Woodes Rodgers Walk.  Walk out of the cruise area, turn right, follow the sidewalk and it's right there.  It is on the 2nd story.  Food is excellent but not cheap.  Burgers, Tacos, pulled pork BBQ is around $20.  Mixed drinks are good.  You can see a menu if you use google maps, then click on "menu" tab.  There are nice photos of food.  I go up here and eat and people watch and it's a lovely view of the water.
