wolft927 Posted January 13, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2020 So will be sailing on the Glory out of New Orleans on the 26th and we have an Ocean Suite. Does New Orleans have a Captains lounge for embarkation? Also we have a 12:00 Noon arrival time, will we be able to get into the terminal earlier. Its my 18 year old Stepsons 1st cruise and pretty sure he is going to be going nuts to get there lol
myangel Posted January 13, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2020 Yes, a very nice captains Lounge with pastries, cookies, coffee, etc. We sail from NOLA often and you will not be let in the terminal until your assigned time, unless you are Diamond, Platinum, or Suite. Your boarding pass should have a "priority" on them, if it doesn't ( and they do check) you will not be allowed. Enjoy your early embarkation! P.S. the doors to the terminal do not open until 10am. HakunaMatada Posted January 15, 2020 #6 Share Posted January 15, 2020 whats the captains lounge? is this just for suite and diamond? I've been platinum for awhile now and have never been directed to a "captains lounge"
wolft927 Posted January 15, 2020 Author #7 Share Posted January 15, 2020 Lounge for Platinum, Diamond and those in suites. Your cruise ticket will have priority boarding in red on the top corner
kenb Posted January 16, 2020 #8 Share Posted January 16, 2020 There is not a lounge captains lounge in every port. Mobile does not have one and I am guessing Charleston will not. Those are the only two I can verify.
