Oasis disembarkation, quick or slow?

Hi. Just wondering how quick it is to get 6,000 + people off of Oasis. Is it as smooth as any other ship? We will be on her in Bayonne and wonder if that will be any better or worse than her current port.

Can’t speak for Bayonne,  but sailing out of Ft Lauderdale on her sister, the Allure, it was one of the absolute fastest debarkations that I’ve ever experienced. They did a fantastic job spreading people. We did normal debarkation and still had almost 3 hours to make our 11:25am flight home.

Miami disembarking the actual ship wasn't bad, but then once we got our luggage and waited through customs took a little bit more time.  Maybe 45 min for the whole process?  What really took the longest was waiting for a ride.  So many cars with no way to get through...

Bayonne is subject to some tidal concerns for the operation crews loading and unloading.  Empress for example can have issues in Bayonne because the tides require using cranes at times to load and unload not only luggage but also supplies (instead of forklifts).  That slows the process down.   Some of the crew on board Empress were telling me about the challenges they and some ships face in Bayonne.

Until Oasis goes for the first time and repeats several cycles we won't know what challenges luggage loading/unloading may face .  Self assist guests will be unaffected.

I expect the first couple of cycles may be a learning exercise for Oasis in Bayonne but they'll adapt and optimize.
