Xmas515 Posted January 18, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2020 We were in 7106 and 7107 (connecting interior cabins) and it was fine. Cabin was quiet and we didn't hear noise from above. Had heard concerns about being so close to the kids and teens clubs, but it was a non-issue (and we had kids in both clubs).
travelmama06 Posted January 18, 2020 Author #3 Share Posted January 18, 2020 How was the motion in your room on the ship ? Hoping we are not too close the front of the ship !?
don't-use-real-name Posted January 18, 2020 #4 Share Posted January 18, 2020 Use this LINK to answer some of your questions: https://www.cruisedeckplans.com/DP/deckplans/Norwegian-Sun There are cabins over you on deck 8 - The area below is undefined - probably part of the Promenade deck 6 One detraction would be the 90 degree turn in the passageway outside your cabin door As for motion - your location should be of little if any concern. You did not indicate where or when your cruise is taking place to aid in answering or giving more advice.
travelmama06 Posted January 18, 2020 Author #5 Share Posted January 18, 2020 I have checked out the deck plans and wanted the one with the furthest away from front of ship but on that deck - please explain why 90 degree passageway could be a problem ? We are sailing to Bahamas from port Canaveral Feb 2021

HC guests - guests on scooters can not meet in most passageways where they can't see the length of the passageway (90 degree turn) to avoid the conflict is troublesome and also with cabin stewards carts ! Same could be noted for two or more guests going opposing directions chance meeting at the bend - not a serious problem but making for an awkward situation - right in front of your cabin door.
