Moby Jones Posted January 16, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 16, 2020 Hi, will there be a new sub forum for Ritz Carlton cruise line?
Rare Host Jazzbeau Posted January 16, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2020 When it reaches critical mass. One very small ship doesn't generate much traffic on Cruise Critic.
Rare cruisestitch Posted January 5, 2021 #3 Share Posted January 5, 2021 Is there any information about the cruise line Ritz Carlton tying in with Marriott loyalty?
Alakegirl Posted January 6, 2021 #4 Share Posted January 6, 2021 There was just an ad for this on Facebook. I hadn’t heard of RitzCarlton having cruise ships before. Has anyone here booked this yet?
tfred Posted January 8, 2021 #5 Share Posted January 8, 2021 doubt that there would be a tie in. The RC ship owners are a different company using the RC name. They may throw in some points along the way (as they do with apartment rentals through Marriott) but that would be it I think. No upgrades available on the ship as it is small and everything is basically included Looks nice though - on Crystal level
Rare cruisestitch Posted January 11, 2021 #6 Share Posted January 11, 2021 This is from the Ritz Carlton Yacht website. Curious what could be in the offing
Alakegirl Posted January 25, 2021 #7 Share Posted January 25, 2021 Update from the RC website, so it appears that there is some sort of Bonvoy recognition just announced
WestLakeGirl Posted February 1, 2021 #8 Share Posted February 1, 2021 I wonder if we would be able to earn Marriott points by cruising? Or better still, cash in points to the cost of the cruise?
Rare cruisestitch Posted February 11, 2021 #9 Share Posted February 11, 2021 I just looked at the ritz Carlton Yachts website and can no longer see the chart linking to Marriott status. Perhaps they have moved it? Or taken it down?
WestLakeGirl Posted November 9, 2021 #10 Share Posted November 9, 2021 New announcement on this came out today.
Rare Host Jazzbeau Posted November 10, 2021 #11 Share Posted November 10, 2021 180,000 points for a $1,000 credit is .55 cents per point. Better than Hilton [average .4 cents in my experience], but nowhere near the 1.0 cents per point I get from cash-back credit cards [which give me 2-5 points per dollar spent in the first place]. I haven't found a travel card that made sense yet...
