Half Day Tour of Barcelona

Hi,

 

My husband and I are arriving two days prior to our cruise. We would like to do a 1/2 day tour of Barcelona the day that we arrive with a tour company. ( Skip the line) The following day we already have plans to go to Monserrat for a full day. Embarkation day we would still explore Barcelona but on our own.

 

Most 1/2 day tours are for the morning, but we would be looking to do an afternoon tour. Does anyone know of a tour company that does tours in the afternoon?

Another recommendation to check out Barcelona Day Tours.  If they don't have an afternoon tour listed on their website, they still may be able to arrange something or refer you to another company that does.  We did their 1/2 day tour on our last visit and enjoyed very much!

Thank you I had been in touch with them and they do not do afternoon tours.

We are having Barcelona Day Tours pick us up at the airport (morning), give us a half day tour of Barcelona, and deliver us to our hotel at the end.  I understand that hotels in Barcelona do not let you check in early, so we may as well do something.  After we check in and get settled, we plan to walk around on our own.

 

It is a private tour since they would not schedule shared, semi-private tours for airport pick ups.  I decided it was worth the price.  You might ask them for a quote.  It won't hurt.

We were able to check into hotel jazz VERY early in the morning. They are also great about holding luggage in the luggage room. They even took delivery of all the local wine we ordered that was delivered to the hotel and held it for our stay of 5 days. Call your hotel and ask.

Barcelona is so easy to DIY, you don't really need a tour.  The Metro is super easy to navigate, and inexpensive.  You can get La Sagrada Familia timed tickets in advance on their website.
