Royal will rename Diamond Lounges into Concierge Lounges.  That would follow the evolution of changing CL into SL.  That way Royal C&A are not "taking" away benefits from D cruisers.

No need for a new name.  After all of the existing Concierge Clubs are gone or converted to Suite Lounges, the Diamond Clubs can be renamed Concierge Clubs and voila, Diamond Plus members will once again be admitted to Concierge Clubs!  Diamond members will not actually be locked out of the Diamond Clubs because there will no longer be any Diamond Clubs for them to be locked out of.

With a sign at the entry: " Not sure if you have access? Neither are we but it'll change soon anyway".

 

*** Sailings from Galvenston will have a temporary name of "Git y'all Free Drinks Right Here" Lounge while sailing in Texas waters.

Due to changes in CK access for 2019 Birthday Cruise,  Suites were excluded the following year.

Yes, on 2018 Cruise, Suites had access. Actually, it was a nice place to hangout. Don’t remember much of a crowd. I think a band was playing (might have been after event). 
 

How active was it in 2019 since Suites were “kicked out”.

I believe I have met her and her husband on a previous cruise.  Does she live in Las Vegas with her husband?  Can't remember if I met them on Oasis class or Serenade last year.  Did you meet them recently?

Decent, got busier as the week went on. Even some folks on the upper level.

Found out towards the end that you could get frozen drinks. I didn't remember that from 2018

 

We rarely went to SL. The two trips were very different as I recall

What's missing is a pint of Newcastle Brown Ale in my hand.

No earring or tattoos for me.

Ralph Lauren Polo shirt and Ralph Lauren deck shoes with Izod golf shorts, certainly not a pirates outfit.

Apparently I was the top tipper in the CL that week.

Let Them build a suite lounge for the suite guest.....why should people who are diamond plus loose out when they have spent well over a hundred thousand to make that mark...they can make it in the chapel on the ships...that way the upper crust will be on the top floor...

Hate to burst your bubble, but we hit D+ at just under 30 grand

Pinnacle at just over 100 grand

YMMV

For perspective, Our upcoming STAR suite cost around 12 grand
