Petra Jordan princess tour

Hi all

2021 have a reservation  on Princess Dubai to Rome

Love Dubai spending  5 days In Dubai before the cruise 

Petra has been on my bucket list

it is 1.2 miles in the Sig to the Petra

my question to folks  who have done this tour with Princess is the 5 mile walk do able?

i do want to do this tour

We did this tour in 2019 off the Sapphire Princess. It was not difficult for us. We are in our early sixties, in good health and we walk (me) or run (DW) almost every day at home (there's a young Border Collie that encourages this). I will admit we were tired when we completed the trek. It's mostly downhill on the the way but clearly uphill on the way back. The path is mostly even as well.

 

For those in not so good health and/or shape, there are rides available in golf-cart-like vehicles as well as on Arabian Horses. Not sure if there was an extra fee for the carts but I'm sure the horse rides are extra.
