Except that's not on the website, at least not on the US based one. I assume that the package is as it has always been but what shows on the website is different.

That's pulled right off the US website, but it's pulled from the cruise planner for my upcoming cruise.

Thanks for the info, I checked in my planner and it says the same.  Wonder why the difference on the main pages?

If you prefer something more than the "usual offerings" of beer (macro beers) on cruise ships, Celebrity has a pretty decent selection, but you will need the Premium or pay the difference. We upgraded for that very reason 😀

I'm a wine drinker and have PBP but not fussy on those wines either

I wanted to upgrade from Class to Drinks and More but Celebrity told me that since I received the drink package for free when I booked that I am not eligible and would have to pay full price to upgrade.

That’s odd. My Cruise Planner gives me the option, and mine was a free perk. Just upgrade on cruise planner...and if your Classic Package isn’t on there yet, just call in and they can make it show up. Then you can upgrade there.

My travel agent just notified me that the information she had was old and that they changed it on January 17 and with the new rules it will cost me $63 per person to upgrade from Classic to Drinks and More per person for 7 days.

Since my wife plays the casino when you subtract that $50 credit it was only $76 for the 2 of us to upgrade. (plus free cheap wine to bring home because we drink better wine for free on the ship).

I told her to book it and hope she has correct info this time.

No, $63 PP (for a 7 day cruise) is the cost to upgrade from the Premium Beverage Package to Drinks and More.

It generally costs $84 PP to upgrade from Classic to Premium, so that gives you a total of $147 from Classic to Drinks and More for a week-long cruise.

It's identical on my cruise planner, with the difference that it's in US dollars ($59.00 US)

Annoyingly though, I can't find a list of exactly what is included. The blurb says to click on the pdf link to download the list but I can't actually find that link...

Sometimes I find it really challenging to maneuver around Celebrity's website!

If you're browsing the Cruise Planner in Private/Incognito Mode, the pdf files cannot be accessed. You have to browse the CP in "normal" mode for them to work (as opposed to most other situations, where browsing Celebrity's website in Private Mode is an advantage). And when you do browse in normal mode, the CP has a different design as well. At least for me in Firefox.
