Koningsdam  is backing up...  ZOOM...

I think the camera operators are tuned into the Super Bowl a little early today.

Looks like the Statendam is dropping some lines as well.  Maybe we will get a short HAL parade and a toot off.

I asked, on the facebook page, why the wave requests, etc. weren't happening and this was the reply:

This is a chronic issue with Comcast which we will address with them for the 100th time. However, until we can get a satisfactory resolution, coverage of sail-aways will be limited with little or no wave-request zooming. Apologies to those we miss.

I have been wondering about the "waves" as well.

Thanks for getting an answer for us.

Nice farewell toots, battle of the toots. Have to go, Bon Voyage fair winds & smooth seas.

You're welcome on getting an answer. All those toots! My DH said it was the "Back up horn"! We have the Fort Lauderdale camera on the TV (ROku stick) and the Port Everglades on the computer. It works!

I'm not sure why Comcast is to blame.  For sure, the constant buffering is because of low bandwidth but the focus on WAVES is for the camera operators.  I thought they were PTZ employees...  Guess I don't understand the dynamics...

Nice to see the Pinnacle sisters tooting and leaving port together - they're clearly the best looking ships in Port Everglades!
